PriceTravel started in 2000 in the Mexican resort destination Cancun. Our team hails from Mexico, Argentina, Austria, Germany and the United States, bringing over 60 years of internet travel, tourism and hotel sales experience to PriceTravel.
At its beginnings, PriceTravel was the first online travel agency in Mexico to sign contracts with major hotel chains including Occidental Resorts, Camino Real Hotels and Riu Hotels. We added airline ticket sales and ground transfers to our product offerings in 2002. In December 2008 we tripled the size of our call center. In 2009 we reached agreements with Interjet, Aeromexico and Mexicana to provide our clients with specially negotiated rates. We also opened offices in Acapulco and Puerto Vallarta.
The majority of the technology used at PriceTravel is developed by our team and we are always enhancing every aspect of PriceTravel.com.mx. Many of our improvements come directly from our customer comments and suggestions.

We know the success of a company goes beyond economic expectations. That is why we embraced a vision where we work together with different people, groups and organizations in Mexico and overseas to implement practices that contribute to the economic, social and environmental wellbeing of our co-workers and their community.
In 2011 we committed to this effort applying for our certification as a socially responsible corporation. On March 1st 2012 PriceTravel was officially awarded with the Distintivo ESR (Socially Responsible Corporation Award) granted by the Centro Mexicano para la Filantropía (Mexican Center for Philantropy).
We support causes that promote wellness
We support organizations whose aim is to promote human or environment welfare through volunteer programs or as active members. This effort began in 2012 with volunteer programs in Cancun Mexico and the signing of the code: Código de Conducta del Sector Turismo para la Protección de Niños, Niñas y Adolescentes Contra la Explotación Sexual.
